Ω Personality: Laidback for the most part but with a huge temper if he lets it fly. Flirty party boy but not too much of a womanizer. Sweet mama's boy. Social. Somewhat modest. Goofy. Overprotective.
Ω Family was always an odd thing as far as the Bryant's were concerned. At first it started out quite normal. Mom and Dad get married, have baby number one, have baby number two a few years later. Everyone is happy, Parents, two kids, even a dog. But normal doesn't always last. When Kurt Bryant was 7 he lost his father. To this day he has a bit of a problem with the term 'lost.' He didn't lose his father. His father was stolen from him. On a trip to the bank, Alexander Bryant was in the wrong place at the wrong time. During a bank robbery Alexander was an innocent bystander and it had fatal consequences. The death of his father was hard on the whole family. His mother was left alone with two young children and a rather weak work background.
Ω Katherine did everything she could to try to keep the family afloat but the bills continued to pile up. Just when she was at her wits end something very good happened. She'd always known her daughter was cute but when a friend encouraged her to send in the girl's picture to a child model competition. The girl won, gaining the family 20K and was picked up by a modeling agency. After little deliberation the family moved out to LA. It didn't take too long for the little girl to land catalog shoots, commercials, and even a kids music video and the ever famous show Barney and Friends. While Aurelia was raking it in as the family moneymaker, Kurt was happy to fly under the radar and just be a normal little boy. Since Katherine spent a lot of time taking Aurelia places he enjoyed afterschool care, little league, and all sorts of things. He was quite the little athlete and fancied himself a comedian of sorts, always entertaining his friends. It wasn't all fun and games. Sometimes he had to miss things because they had to be somewhere or do something for his sister but he never resented her for it.
Ω Despite the fun and success his sister had, Kurt never had aspirations of acting or modeling of his own. When Alli began working in the industry, the now older Kurt was taking his share of the burden helping get her places. While throwing around a football waiting for his sister on set he was spotted by someone who would change his life. A casting director for the company asked him if he was an actor or interested in acting. Before he could laugh it off and say no his sister appeared saying he'd love an audition and rattled off their phone number so it could be scheduled. She promised Kurt he'd thank her for it later. And in the end he did.
Ω Tim Riggins was definitely a fun role to take on. Who wouldn't want to play a manwhore alcoholic football player? It was a unique style of show and Kurt quickly caught the acting bug. When he got the role of Emmett he thought it would be fun and had no idea what sort of celebrity it was about to launch him to. He'd never read the books, though his sister had, and was completely unaware of the cult-like following the series had. While Friday Night Lights had it's niche and brought him some attention it was nothing on the level that being Emmett Cullen did. Even now he's still shocked by it all on an almost daily basis.
